AIPS to organise 5-day workshop on patent fundamentals and practice from March 25
Academy of intellectual Property Studies (AIPS) will be organising a five-day workshop on patent fundamentals and practice from March 25 to 29 at AIPS, Mumbai. This programme is designed to provide an appreciation of the various legal and practical issues relating to patents. The workshop aims at providing an understanding of the patent scenario worldwide, and help in demystifying the elements of patentability.
The objective of the workshop is to provide practical and interactive approach that will enable application of what has been learned in the work environment to be adopted. The training will be provided in patent fundamentals, prior art search and search strategy. It will also focus on patent specification drafting, filing and prosecuting patent applications, claim interpretation and analyses and patent licensing.
This workshop is suitable for the scientists, chemists, engineers, officers in the R&D, managers, prospective patent attorneys, IP lawyers and academicians as well as aspiring patent agents.
AIPS is an institute that has been set up in affiliation with the Indian Drug Manufacturers Association (IDMA). It aspires to be a leader in the field of IP studies, offering a mix of training and learning programmes that will enable the participants to become IPSmart.
